I'm currently following a few strands of thought for a
graphic novel around the subject of public/private identitities
in the context of institutional structures. (or: a story about a
9 year-old boy who'd rather be playing elaborate war games
in the woods than sitting still in school)

I'm also investigating / researching the possibilities for a
hybrid graphic novel / docucomic around the contradictions
of paranoia in an age of increasing surviellance and actual government
malfesance. (or: circumstances and a good grasp of the facts transform
an armchair conspiracy connoiseur into a full scale paranoid. Or does it?)

And there's also the large-scale colored ink drawings I'm doing (see below)
I've begun to incorporate these into a screen format, looking at the perfect
compositions of Japanese screens as inspiration.
